Parent-School Partnership
We believe that parents, teachers, staff and students must all work together to create a safe and pleasant learning environment that is rich in knowledge and discovery. Parents, teachers and staff are expected to keep open lines of communication, and to support each other’s efforts. Trust and mutual understanding among all parties helps ensure that the children’s learning and emotional needs are met.
Parents keep teachers informed about significant changes or events in the children’s lives outside of school, or if a child is experiencing successes or difficulties in any school-related matters. Teachers are responsible for communicating emotional, social or academic accomplishments, milestones or difficulties that they observe with a child. Administration provides the opportunities and support to ensure that these lines of communication remain open and productive.
