Saratoga Independent School offers a fun-filled, theme-based summer camp program following the academic year. Registration for camp begins on February 25! Each week includes creative movement, arts & crafts, music, sports and more! Our camp dates and themes are listed below. The program runs daily, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Early drop off is available starting at 8:30 AM and is $5 per child. Please email our Office Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
For parents in need of additional coverage, we will be offering an afternoon childcare program. The hours of operation are 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM. The cost is $10 per hour per child.

Summer 2014 Dates and Themes
Week 1 – July 7 – July 11 – Wild Weather Around the World – $125 per child
Calling all Junior Meteorologists! During this first session of summer, we will investigate the various types of weather from different locations around the globe. Hurricanes, typhoons, blizzards, tornadoes and more await!
Week 2 – July 14 – July 18 – African Animal Safari – $125 per child
During the second week of Summer, we will explore the vast Serengeti right here on our school campus. Be on the lookout for Wildebeests, lions, gazelles and a lot of fun with your fellow explorers!
Week 3 – July 21 – July 25 – Garden to Table – $125 per child
This week we will learn what it takes to grow our own food, harvest the gardens and prepare delicious fresh goodies. Our budding chefs will take over the SIS kitchen and create nutritious and easy snacks and meals using ingredients from the local community and from the school grounds. Bon appetit!
Week 4 – July 28 – August 1 – Medieval Times – $125 per child
Get ready to storm the castle during the fourth week of summer. Take a trip back in time to the days of brave knights, fair maidens, dragons, and potions. Our Sorcerers-in-Training will be mixing up a cauldron full of memories during this exciting session of camp!
Week 5 – August 4 – August 8 – Monsters, Myths and Magic – $125 per child
Week Five is dedicated to urban legends, tall tales and mysteries. Our detectives and magicians will be on the hunt for clues leading to Sasquatch, mermaids, the Loch Ness Monster and more. Grab your magnifying glass and your magic wand as we learn about all of the things that go bump in the night. Abracadabra!
Week 6 – August 11 – August 15 – Simple Machines – $125 per child
Attention scientists, attention scientists! This fun and final week of the 2014 camp season will focus on Physics! Join your fellow colleagues in the science lab (and all over campus) to learn how simple machines like pulleys, wedges and levers make life easier for us. Our physicists will work together to build and use simple machines to solve challenges.
